- Does it cost anything to me?
Candidate & Recruiter registration on Naukripitara.com is free of cost.
- How do I register on Naukripitara.com?
It’s a simple 2-step process. Just log on to www.naukripitara.com and click on “Join Us” tab on the right side of the page.
Step 1: Choose the right option Candidate or Employer.
Step 2: Fill in your details.
Step 3: Activate your registration by clicking on the link sent to you in the welcome email.
Note: You can also use social links (Facebook & LinkedIn) credentials to register.
- Do I need a valid email id for registration?
Yes, you need a valid email id to register on naukripitara.com. The same email id will be used to communicate with you in the future. We value your privacy, and we hate spam as much as you do. We are not going to spam or sell your email address to any third party. We still need your email account to be able to provide you with your Job related information or for any other career related notifications you may choose.
- What do I do after registration?
Fill up your personal information in “My Profile” Section.
Profile summary can be written in the box below. It is always advisable not to copy paste matter, else your text may appear distorted or misaligned w.r.t. rest of the matter.
Social links: You can paste URL of your social links (facebook, linkedIn etc.) also. Now a days recruiters view your social profile to look into activities and assess your candidature accordingly. However, this step is not mandatory.
Video URL: You can upload your video talking about your profile or you can showcase your work on some project etc. Video resume certainly better your chances to get viewed and shortlisted.
- Can I skip the current salary field?
We value your privacy. Current salary is a mandatory field as we need this information to help you understand your current position vis-a-vis peers, and estimate the average annual salary for your profile in the market with our internationally proven salary benchmarking tool. Moreover, Recruiters use this information to select candidates.
- How do I fill up my job details post completing “My Profile” section?
Go to “My Resume” section just below the “My Profile” tab on the left side of your screen and start filling up all details.
Detail description of your job history can be filled in the “Experience” box as shown in below image. It is always advisable not to copy paste matter, else your text may appear distorted or misaligned w.r.t. rest of the matter.
- What is Portfolio Section?
You can add images of your past work, project, activities, awards or any achievement, which you feel is relevant to your profile. Once image appears on the screen, click on add portfolio to save it. Click on Add New to attach more images.
Note: Make sure the size of the image is as per the specification mentioned with the portfolio section.
- How to fill in “skill” section?
You can put any skill with percentage level, in which you feel you are expert in. it could be related to your profile or beyond as well.
Ex: IT skill, Technical skill, Project work etc.
- How can I update or edit my profile in the future?
To update or edit your profile on naukripitara.com, you will have to log in and click on the tab at the top right corner of your screen as shown in below image. Thereafter you may click on any sub tab shown within the same window like My Profile, My resume, etc. sections to edit your profile (You can also find this panel on the left side of your screen within your profile). Once you are done with editing make sure you save it before exiting.
It is important that you keep you profile up-to-date to ensure that you receive relevant matched positions. You can also update/edit your profile by clicking on the links available in the Top Window of your account.
- How can I search jobs?
For quick search go on to home page and simply write keywords, specialism and location to find your desired job, in the section shown in the below pic.
For detailed search, please click on the “JOBS” tab on the top of window and find job bases different search criteria’s like: Vacancy type, Job postdate, specialism, salary offered, career level, experience, gender, industry & qualification. Filter options are available on the left navigation panel.
- How do I apply for the jobs which I find in the search?
To apply for a job from the search result, you need to first log in and then click on the apply button given with the job posting. Clicking on this button will take you to below window, click on the button “Apply Now” to apply for that job.
- I don’t remember my password. How do I retrieve my password?
If you are not able to trace the welcome mail received from naukripitara and you don’t remember your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link below the log in box. It will prompt you to enter your username (email id). A new password will be sent to you on your email id.
- How can I upload my new resume and change my old resume?
To upload new Resume or to Change your old resume, click on the tab as shown in below image, post login. Then click on CV and cover letter tab to make desired change. Don’t forget to click on Update tab to save all changes.
Note: Our cover letter section accepts min. 10 to max. 500 characters only. Please take care while writing and applying job with cover letter.
